Decision Making for High-Performing Environments

Good leaders (also those without authority) navigate the course of their organizations by taming chaos and adding clarity. That is not possible without effective decision-making, which is something much more than following your gut feeling and speaking the loudest in the room ... This session will be all about making the right decisions in the right way (especially when you're not "the boss"). Does direct democracy work? What does it mean being data-driven in decision-making & is all the data alike? How to tell when the decision should be made (& what are the pitfalls here)? What is the "lava flow" effect & how to avoid it? What are mechanisms to make decisions in highly ambiguous scenarios in a disciplined ways? I'll talk about all that & much more during this session.
